Pre-K 3 Teachermdaughertystjosephdanville.comHello! My name is Megan Daugherty but the kids call me Mrs. D. I will be your child’s PreK-3 Teacher this year! I graduated from Bloomsburg University with a degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. This is my 14th year teaching and my 6th year at St. Joseph. After Spending 7 years teaching Special Education, I transitioned to Early Intervention where I worked with children ages birth to 3 years. While I immensely enjoyed what I was doing, I missed the traditional classroom. Getting back to my roots, I joined the SJS family in 2019 and spent two years teaching Kindergarten. When St. Joseph School opened up the PreK-3 program, I was honored to have been chosen as the teacher. I am an avid Penn State fan, love spending time with my husband and our son, and animal lover. I believe that children learn best through play and am excited to watch your child blossom this school year.
