You visit the earth and water it, you greatly enrich it; the river of God is full of water;  you provide their grain, or so you have prepared it.  The pastures of the wilderness drip, the hills gird themselves with joy, the meadows clothe themselves with flocks, the valleys deck themselves with grain, they shout and sing together with joy.
Psalm 65:9, 12-13
Thank you for coming to school with your Science notebook, homework, and of course a pen and pencil.
We are so pleased that our First Annual School Science Expo was a success!  Students in grades 5 -8 displayed their science projects.  Guest judges that evening included officials from the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science and Bloomsburg University Science Education Majors.
Eighteen students in grades 7 and 8 are eligible to participate in the PJAS Regional Competition to be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Susquehanna University.
Special thanks to Mr. Everly, regional PJAS Director and his assistant, Dr. Zain, for inviting our 7th and 8th grade students to spend a day in the Physics Lab of Susquehanna University.  While there the students observed sample PJAS presentations from past years and were able to use equipment from the Physics Lab.  They also worked on the PowerPoint portion of their presentations and received invaluable advice from Mr. Everly and Dr. Zain!
Each Science class (grades 5 -8) has been assigned monthly "Design Challenges" based on STEM principals.  This month many students are entering the "Fluor Engineering Challenge" with a chance to win $1000!
